The Eucharist service in the crypt of Canterbury Cathedral was very well attended during which Bishop Trevor presided and preached a most inspirational sermon. The Bishop was assisted by our Spiritual Director, Rev'd Keith McNicol.
The commissioning took place of the new Lay Director of Canterbury Cursillo, Bill Washington but not before Bishop Trevor paid tribute to the amazing work of our retiring Lay Director, Barbara Verga.

Following the service, a bring-and-share-lunch took place in the nearby St. Thomas' Hall. After lunch, the Annual General Meeting was held during which six members of the current secretariat retired so Bill Washington and all those attending warmly welcomed the new members.
Ann Welti was Lay Rector for the Ultreya that followed and this included a powerful yet poignant witness talk from Sammy Wall on the subject of forgiveness. Sammy put her heart and soul into the talk and received a standing ovation. Rev'd Keith responded and congratulated Sammy for her courage and ability.
